Kidnapped Dragons Chapter 401

Episode 107: Let us Love (4)

Episode 107: Let us Love (4)

“170 times.”

The exact number he had forgotten came out of her mouth.

“That’s the number of times you attacked my mother and the leaders of our race in front of my eyes.”

To be exact, it was a number he didn’t even remember. From one point, death became nothing but an act of repetition which he didn’t bother remembering.

“169 times… That’s the number of times you died. Out of those you killed yourself 36 times.”

But among the iterations that he had thoughtlessly skimmed through was a victim who had clearly observed the process of his regression.

“37 – the number of times my mother almost died.”

Embedding an explosive amount of hatred and hostility into her eyes, she glared at Yu Jitae.

“I’m a dragon. I don’t forget but that’s different for you.

“You don’t remember anything, do you…?”

She started gasping for breath. Sealing her mouth shut, she clenched her small hands into fists and closed her eyes to withstand the dense fog of hatred.

Huk, huk, kuhk…

After somehow collecting her breath, she opened her eyes again.

“…That’s always how it is for the assailant.”

Would this be how it feels for his brain to melt away? Yu Jitae was feeling that something had already gone irreversibly wrong.

He still didn’t think his actions were wrong even at this point. He had done it out of necessity but that did not change the fact that the child of the dragon he had killed was cursing in front of him.

While he was clenching his teeth and stopping his breath at the face of the unbelievable reality,

She continued speaking.

“It was very strange.

“Back then, we were already in a very vulnerable state because of the strife with other sovereigns and there were fights happening between us. My mother moved the entire world into a visible place with Conceptualisation, and shaped it into a human palace. It was to avoid their eyes.”

The girl still remembered ‘that day’.

After several short gasps, her eyes turned blurry as they gazed into the distant past.

“That day was the same as every other day–

“After a strict education and training, I was complaining to my mum. ‘It’s too stressful. It’s too painful,’ because my ribs were all shattered and dangling. I cursed her, ‘Why did you give birth to me if you were going to do this’…

“But she suddenly got up in a hurry. I became more mad because I thought she was trying to hit me, but no. My mum led me and my sister somewhere hand in hand and I was surprised. It was my first time seeing her look so frightened…

“That was when something exploded outside the palace. Back then, we were preparing for a war against other sovereigns and there were about 20 black dragons protecting the palace.”

Her gaze turned blurry. All those unforgettable moments came back to her as complete memories.

“I heard screams outside.

“The palace was shaking from loud explosions. My mum shouted and sent someone off.

“My sister started to cry so I hugged her.

“Someone died outside.

“To something extremely dangerous.”

Yu Jitae knew who that ‘something’ was without even needing to hear it from her. Even though memories of those moments were hazy, he could still remember what he himself had done.

“My mum pushed me and my sister to the [Non-Providential World] behind the throne. There was an alternate dimension opened beforehand. Because my sister belonged to the Providential World, she was tied to the timeline but I wasn’t.

“Mum said to me.”

Memory transferration unique to the black race flooded unedited memories into his head.

– Stay here. Do not ever come out.

Lugiathan’s expression tainted with fear,

– Mum will be alright. So never come out. Okay?

And her endlessly quivering voice was vividly conveyed to him.

“My mum then covered the dimension with a veil. She didn’t know how great her daughter was. She didn’t expect me to rip that veil.”

She continued while gazing into Yu Jitae’s eyes.

“…A man carrying a sword came into the palace.”

Seemingly with a lump in her throat, she started off slow. Through the tear in the veil, the light purple eyes of the small girl saw something she shouldn’t have.

“Mum was attacked by that man.

“All my uncles and aunties were being killed by the man but my mum retaliated fiercely. She was still the head of a dragon race. So in the end, the conceptualised palace crumbled and the man was bisected.

“It was quite shocking to me. Because all of my precious uncles and aunties had been killed.

“But, that wasn’t the end.”

The moment the man died, the world regressed to its original point in time.

“Soon, the world flipped upside down.

“My aunties and uncles came back to life.

“The shattered building rebuilt itself.

“…And the man came back carrying a sword.”

Unfortunately, the time she entered the Non-Providential World was too close to the man’s assault. That specific point in time when the girl entered the Non-Providential World – [Primal Time] – became the starting point of her perception of the regression, and she was forced to watch the man constantly break through the palace.

“Next, mum lost her legs.

“After that, she struggled in pain from a stab to her stomach.

“And later, the fight ended with her arms amputated.

“…Time flew back and my mum repeatedly returned to the mum I knew.

“But without even skipping a single time,”

She bit her lips.

“That man came to kill my mum.”

One time, she had to crawl with her legs cut off.

One time, she bled from her dug-out eyes as she cried in pain.

And one time, her heart was gouged out as she was stuck in a corner, being stabbed on repeat for a few hours.

As time repeated 170 times,

There was one baby dragon who had to watch all that happen without ever turning away from it.

“Mum didn’t die when she was decapitated, and didn’t die even when her heart was stabbed. It was because the source of her life was in fact embedded in a different part of her body.

“Can you guess where that was…?”

She gave a wide smile despite the melancholic look on her face. When the crushed fang was revealed by the smile, Yu Jitae was frozen stiff.

“Mum died… and the man left…

“But I stayed there crying…

“After a few years, I came out of the shelter and woke up my sister who was still unconscious.

“The moment I left the Non-Providential World, my world was included inside the destined Providence. In other words, my mother’s death was decided the very moment I returned to the palace. It couldn’t be helped. I couldn’t stay in that tiny and suffocating prison all my life.

“So mum was forever dead.

“My sister lost her mind because of the sudden reality that she had to face and tried to stop her heart to die. I had to make sure she wouldn’t die.

“I was young, but back then, I was quite calm.

“Crouching there together with my sister, we thought about what to do while looking at mother’s corpse.

“How should we take revenge? We asked each other…”

She erased the smile from her mouth.

“Before coming up with a detailed plan.

“I recalled all of your 170 deaths to collect your information.

“You were very arrogant back then. You didn’t even try to hide your emotions or memories. Maybe that was because you were going to keep on regressing anyway?

“Thanks to that, I got the information I needed, but it was difficult…”

She giggled.

“Our plan for revenge was difficult from the get-go.

“The first obstacle was that you were too strong.

“You were too strong, and too great. I saw from your memory fragments that you had killed sovereigns several times… Even though I learned a lot of amazing spells, I had no idea how I was supposed to kill you. I realised I would not be able to create any risk to your life in the first place, because no matter how strong I became, it would be impossible for me to overwhelm you to death.

“That wasn’t the only problem. The second obstacle, was that funnily enough, you were wishing for death.

“Later I realised that too was because of dragons, but so what? That didn’t matter in the slightest. What was important was that you, who I wanted to kill, wanted to die.

“Even if I do fully kill you, that is nothing but achieving your objective in your stead. Is listening to the opponent’s request a revenge? I didn’t think so at least.

“So killing you was meaningless.”

Lifting her hands, she showed off her palms.

“Then what should I do to take revenge against you?

“It’s hard even when you think about it right?

“But, when I calmly pondered about it, I did find a method.”

With a gaze surging with sin and a set of movements filled with hatred, she continued with an assured voice.

“Because you wanted to die, I had to make you want to live.

“And because I couldn’t kill you even when you wanted to live, I simply had to take what you considered precious.

“Fortunately, I was like my mother and could drag out a strong emotion from others. That is including love.”

She used one of her hands to caress her own cheeks, while using her other hand to grab and knead her breasts.

“For that, I had to give my body,

“To my nemesis who killed my mother…”

Biting her lips, she continued.

“Although that was distressing, I was still willing to do it…

“My mum was everything to me. She was the world. Using my body to take revenge on the one who destroyed my world was nothing.

“But, that wasn’t the end either. Somehow, you could look at the depths of someone’s feelings and I realised that was because of those fickle eyes of yours. Everything would be over the moment you realised I was Lugiathan’s daughter, right?

“In order to deceive you, I had to deceive myself first.

“You know a black dragon’s ability is to manipulate and convey memories, yes? So I killed my personality and sealed it and likewise, I also locked my sister’s personality and the memories of her childhood.

“I said to her.

“I will go bewitch my nemesis first.

“You come when it’s time, and hand me the key.”

She sneered before raising the tip of the ballista and pointing it at Gyeoul’s head again.

Making a person who desired death want to live, and in the end taking everything precious from him. That was the revenge plan of the young baby dragon.

“It wasn’t easy.”

Yu Jitae didn’t reply. He felt like he was going insane, and he therefore had no idea what he was supposed to say, nor what expression he was supposed to wear.

If there was hell, this would be it. At the very end of his long drop, he at last realised that his soul was dumped and completely crushed at the bottom of the abyss.

He was powerless.

He couldn’t say anything.

Meanwhile, she tilted her head and observed his expression like a scientist watching the change of a test subject.

“…So, how do you feel?”

A slightly brighter expression appeared on her face as she glanced through him. She whispered with a soft voice.

“Do you want to live now?”

Kidnapped Dragons

Status: Completed
– The planet [Earth] has entered the abnormal state [Apocalypse]. – You have failed in saving the Earth. The Authority, [Vintage Clock (EX)] rewinds the world’s time. For Yu Jitae, it was a message he had seen many times. It was tiresome. It would have been great had he died with everyone else. But he couldn’t, for his authorities that made him the strongest existence, brought him back in time whenever he died. And even with his strength, he couldn’t protect the broad earth against the maddened dragons. – The world’s time will soon begin. As the clock resumed ticking in the direction it should, his 7th iteration came to a start. Fortunately, he finally had the gist of it.

  1. Rolz says:

Really unexpexted, Thanks for the treat

  2. Manakif says:

GG to the author. My feelings man… Now I don’t even know what to feel.

  3. Robotastic says:

    Wow

  4. Václav says:

    What a freaking plot twist……

Firstly, wp to autor for nice forshadowings earlier in the story. I imagine it was hard to construct it as it is now.
Secondly, how can this even be solved? Bom changing her mind? Unimaginable now. Doing some crazy shuff with time? Possible, but personally i would kinda hated that, as it would break up the build up with time being unchanchable. Last option i kinda hope for is, that the bird had done something. I dont know how it would help, but i dont have any other ideas.

And lastly, thx for the translation. Its been quite a journey. Also as there are quite a lot of cliffhangers now, its nervewraking to wait. On the other hand I love the quality, so I guess we have to wait for a bit.

Comment:sorry for my english, as I am not a native speaker

  5. Matsuri says:

    FUUUUUUUCK
    FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
    FUCK!!!!!!

  6. Reverse says:

That plot twist tho, holy sheet…

  7. Els says:

    Vicious cycle?

  8. Dog says:

Fuck…. FUCK… Damn this novel is really good at stirring my emotions.

  9. Storytravelel3r says:

Now you know why 3 chapters are released.

  10. Glicole says:

Cool story bom I never liked nor care about you anyway
her story didnt really hit me because all seems insignificant before yu jitae story
which is why its so weird that he’s being a bitch rn

  11. taovkool says:

    Holy shit, Bom

  12. FgKom says:

imo, this is hardly the MC fault. Man is just caught up of the messy things in the providence. This is actually kinda depressing.

  13. Arlos says:

I know that, seeing how the author wrote this I am supposed to feel sympathy for Bom and her family… But I am just not feeling it? I am just feeling more annoyed at having more shit throw at Yu jitae, fuck, can’t the world give him a fucking break? Guess I am just a bad person for not taking pity on Bom

  14. Wow says:

Wow this is fucked. I still have the hope of a happy ending, but man is that hope being drained.

Thanks for the chapter, especially with releasing 3 in a row. This ending… I really wonder what end it’ll be?

  15. Saf88 says:

I always knew Bom was the absolute worst girl. What a evil bitch

  16. TheBigFunny says:

    These on-purpose cliffhangers are annoying

  17. nithesh says:

So the source of life(Lugiathan) was embedded into bom’s fang?
If so, why did she say that her mom was forever dead when her fang wasn’t crushed by our mc(at that time)?
Or am I completely out of tune? Then can somebody explain?

  18. Who Knows? says:

Wow… So it really was Bom in the end, but the way it’s all linked together and the reveals is just… Wow…

  19. GRIMM says:

A triple release just to end on a cliffhanger… I said it before and I’ll say it again, Rain you are a glorious bastard. Thanks for the triple release.

  20. Carter says:

I understand the deep hatred she has for Jitae…but I just want to know , was (Green hair) Bom’s love real or a lie ? If yes, then can those feelings transfer to (Black hair) Bom ? Can Love overshadow that deep hatred ? Did Bom deceived herself to be in love with him and there was never any Love ? This chapter made me confuse and emotionally unstable but the Prophetess has spoken that he will have sex with a black hair! Hope all goes well!

  21. mohamed42 says:

WOW …… I’m speechless. I could never have seen this coming, this twist is so amazing.

what make it really good is that it is not just for the shock factor like many other stories, it also adds a lot to the story, the hostility was built up for so long that when it was revealed before that it was just an irrelevant black dragon character, it was honestly disappointing. I personally was willing to let it slide because the story was not really about that, it was about the characters and their growth and relationships. but it turned out like THIS? wow, I am really awed by the author right now.

this also adds a lot of depth to bom (or should I call her Theta?), bom alway seemed apathetic about life with no interest other than yu jitae, and while she loved him we never knew what caused such intense emotion, she always said that it just happened gradually, which is fine I guess it does not have to be one key moment that sparked her love, but THIS makes a lot more sense. and seeing her show such genuine intense emotion is really great, and the fact that all of this is a consequence of yu Jitae’s past actions and sins is also amazing, its really easy to sometimes forget that just because what yu jitae did happened in past iterations does not stop him from being a monster that hurt a lot of people and while I still like his character, the fact that his sins and its consequences are coming back to REALLY hurt him is just mind-blowing.

    1. Lebon says:

There’s no sin on his part. If he did not do it, he would die. Do you blame a tiger for eating a deer? He was in a time loop, and it is not his fault that Bom was a witness to his actions, he certainly didn’t plan for it.

Do you not recall Myu killing off the civilians on a whim? Are black dragons not deserving of death? Torturing the kids is one thing, but I truly believe he’s in the right here.

    2. StopParanoia says:

What the heck? Do you remember WHY the world got destroyed in the first place? It was because the dragons KEPT attacking Earth after the death of one of their hatchlings. It was so unreasonable that the dragons would keep on destroying Earth when it wasn’t even the designated place for the amusement. The fact that their solution boiled down to emotionally scarring a broken, hollow husk of a man even more. This is the equivalent of destroying a man’s home 100 times+ cause you misplaced your stroller on his front lawn, the man becoming a psychotic killer and hunting you all down many times, and then deciding that the best course of action is manipulating the man emotionally. This wasn’t retribution, this is a sick joke.

      1. mcdex says:

But those dragons were not the black ones. The black o es were also screwed by those dragons.

  22. Lebon says:

So the memories of that period of her life determined her actions. So first, those memories were stored in Myu’s world and was revived after Myu’s personality died. Myu then transferred those memories back to Bom. At this time, her personality is still sealed.

Then, the final key [Last fragment of hostility] appeared. The long night occurred even before the 6th iteration. So it used this chance as a ‘clock’? to unseal her personality.

And so the first thing she did is to destroy the ship and harm the other kids. They are aware of Bom’s true nature. Along with this, no doubt Bom would implant their past memories into them. So I don’t see a happy end in this iteration. I guess he’ll just live out his days, wait for the next iteration for Guillotine.

  23. Gato says:

Bom can go die for all i care, i don’t see any wrong with what jitae did

  24. Gato says:

She literally justified what he did 2 chapters ago, that black dragons became the trash of dimensions who destroy wherever they go and worse of all, her mother lugiathan, the ruler of the black dragon race, let that behavior go on, which ricocheted into yu jitae learning about the black dragons and their deeds, thus eradicating them.

    1. Itsover9000 says:

To be fair to her if I saw my mom tortured 169 times and then killed I would do the same thing no matter the reason

  25. Lebon says:

Bom can exist in the Non-Providential World and at the same time gaze at the Providence of Time.

10 years old bom > gets placed in non providential world while Ji Tae (6th) levels up > seals her personality and gets sent by the dragon lord to have her amusement.
    > somehow this places her before Ji Tae (1st iteration). Throughout all iteration, two Boms now exist. The green dragon placed for amusement and the black dragon training.

Okay, so to be clear, right now we have Bom, Thetha existing pararel. Ji Tae did not kill the black dragons in the 7th iteration, so Thetha will not become Bom.
The events we are reading now only exist because of Bom(6th) being sent back in time for her amusement. (Before Ji Tae loops)

And because she returned from Non-Providential to Providence, her mother’s death was decided, or so she says.

Something doesn’t add up here. How can the loops reset the Castle, and yet not reset it when Bom leaves her non providential world? Assume she did not leave it, another her and her family of black dragons will be alive. Since she did leave it, the past she observed completely replaced the current reality of the loop? This is a lie. Explained below.

There’s more to this story that’s not being told. I don’t believe that just because she left Non-Providential to Providence, that it completely overwrites the current situation of black dragons being alive.

That’s because Bom exist even before the loops. So for Bom to exist, Ji Tae must get to his 6th loop and kill her mother. Since they exist before, and since Bom exist before, we can conclude that for all iterations, Bom and Theta exists simutaniously.

Alright, what does this mean? Firstly, we know that hostility exists due to Bom/Myu’s plans to screw Ji Tae over. This 7th iteration is a dead end. He’ll be sent to his 8th iteration soon.
In the 8th iteration, all Yu Jitae has to do is to kill Myu completely, thus cutting off the ability for Bom to unseal her personality. Hostility will still exist, but without the key, [Last fragment of hostility] won’t be able to let Bom recover her memories.

Thus, all he has to do to leave the time loop, is to ensure the dragons are alive. This is an issue though since Bom wouldn’t be happy = she kills herself. Well, he’ll have to find a solution to that. 20 more years, and he’s home free.

It’s a shame that the current 7th iteration kids as we know them will be gone. But their 8th iteration will be fine. A bitter sweet ending.

    1. Sallama says:

1- Did MC not experiment killing baby dragon one by one to see what happens? According to story, when baby is killed, adults come to take revenge. If he killed only Bom, would green adult dragon show up? If it shows, can it find out Bom is a half-green dragon? Or Bom can conceal her color even in her death?
2- Why did only in this iteration Myu come? Bom’s plan is ongoing at least from 6th iteration. Why there is no Myu in that iteration?
3- Which iteration was MC killed the mother black dragon? He was very weak in early iterations. So he couldnt kill it. Then there will no green dragon sent to Earth. Couldnt MC find out there is an extra dragon on earth after killing mother dragon?

      1. Lebon says:

        1) MC usually kills himself soon after the experiments, so we never got the answer to those questions.
        2) because he killed the black dragons only in the 6th iteration. Her plan started from the 7th iteration(chapter 1). in iteration 1~6, she does not hate Ji Tae. Theta was only placed in providence during 6th when Ji Tae killed them. That’s why hostility only appeared in 7.
        3) 6th iteration. Also time travel. Bom can go back in time with the treasure of the black dragons. MC is unable to step into the world of providence, he can’t find Theta whom was placed there, so he couldn’t have found that out.

    2. holimoli says:

after killing lugiathan jitae probably did not regress until the end of 6th iteration. had bom waited for another regression jitae wouldn’t come since he already has the authority and boms life would move smoothly with just a little bit of PTSD until she meets him in her amusament. Also bom disguising as a hatchling has nothing to do with revenge its a part of grand schema. only after 6th iteration bom became hostile to jitae since before that he didnt kill her mum. also, white bird still has mystery to it. jitae even said bom and white bird are similiar. white bird might be bom from different iteration or someone that wants to stop her (maybe gyeoul? she said that night would be difficult) it was REALLY pissed when hostility first came. I’ll believe in white bird hope for a somewhat hsppy ending I MUST WITNESS GYEOUL CALLING JITAE DAD.

oh you are right about this iteration’s bom there should be two of them.

      so it goes like this:
first 6 iterations bom is simply here to set grand schema into motion and has no hostility to jitae. and after 6th one she makes plans with myu to crush jitae. finally at the 7th iteration she sets her plan into motion and replaces this iterations bom with her memory erasen self (it is possible she had been doing it during 6th iteration as well).

  26. rrobz says:

So can someone clarify for me – is Lugiathan still alive in this current iteration?

    1. Lebon says:

yes, but it’s not 500 year old Bom’s Lugiathan, it’s 10 year old Theta Lugiathan. It’s not addressed yet, and probably never addressed, that she considers the ‘other’ Lugiathan as her mother.

  27. Mystery Reader says:

Imagine next chapter Yu Jitae goes “You’re the thousandth person who wanted revenge on me congratulations.”

  28. Ruim says:

Very questionable development to be honest. Right now author is reaaaaaaly close to dropping his own work from the highest of tiers. Let’s hope that’s not going to be the case.

  29. Patrick Croft says:

This vindicates all those people who said they thought Bom was a crazy b****. I have to admit I’ve been wrong about that for like 300 chapters. You were all right.

  30. AiriMage says:

As great as all this is, I’m a little disappointed guillotine wasn’t used for a longer period of time. Can you imagine how differently this scene could’ve been, the increased pressure we would’ve felt, had Yu Jitae placed a time limit on his life? I believe it was said before that once Yu Jitae activated guillotine he couldn’t stop its “countdown.” Though he did manage to stop guillotine itself from killing him, I wish it’d gone a little differently, with that whole vision of the kids dying appearing midway through the month, him taking up another week traveling to save them, with the end result being guillotine set to unstoppable impale him in a week. It’d add a whole new “issue” that I honestly believe is needed for this part of the story, or for a little bit after it.

  31. Jamonada says:

During all the story I thought Bom was strange, like a painting in a canvas that looks fine at first glance but if you look closely you would find it uncanny below the surface. I wasn’t close to predicting Bom being a black dragon, but the author sure did set up greatly the uncanny feeling that Bom should have. I got goosebumps reading this.

  32. StopParanoia says:

So her master plan was to instill emotions to Yu Jitae again, make him want to live, just so she can feel the thrill of accomplishment of crushing his soul once again? Man…talk about brutal. At this point Yu Jitae should had just killed himself on the guillotine. Being put in a loop you didn’t even want to be, losing hope and humanity, wanting to kill himself, rediscovering his humanity and wanting to live again, only for the source of his humanity to just be stripped again is just depressing as f*ck.

  33. VersusZilch says:

While I understand that translator want to maintain the hype for the epilogue, it would been better to release the chapters all at once for this last hurrah of the novel. It just left me empty due to intensifying itch of having questions unanswered and rely on spoilers to get the answers (well knowing that spoiler exists that is) just defeat the purpose but it just a ‘you/me’ problem anyway. Have a nice day y’all

  34. VersusZilch says:

Almost forgot, those who have that itch, please endure and do not follow my path

  35. pumpui says:

bastarddddd!!! release all chapter don’t hang me with this!!!! thank for the chapters 🙂

  36. zacky says:

You all forgot the vintage clock “you will be happy!!”

After reading this I have a hypothesis myself.

    If theta = hostility
    Then
    Bom = vintage clock

    Exited to see what’s next

  37. Lebon says:

    No release today? aww.

In that case, i’ve been rereading this story, and here’s an interesting find. The green dragon protector did not appear in iterations 1~6, he only appeared in 7. He said that he was guided to find this area by an existence who lives outside of providence. Now, this can’t be Bom because she’s already been kidnapped. This can’t be Theta because Ji Tae hasn’t gone on his murder spree.

However, judging by how much hatred this person has, and being the origin of hostility, which we now know comes from Bom, so there’s 3 freaking Boms? the one who left providence. The one who is still in providence overlooking the looping world. The one whom is still in training. Let’s call the Bom who is in providence PBom.

So PBom’s timeline starts at the 6th iteration when she is placed in that world, and didn’t leave. Thus, she is 100% for sure watching Bom and Ji Tae attempts. She knew where, and when to send all the opponents that Ji Tae had to fight. Ji Tae’s right, behind Bom there is a mastermind, PBom, but I don’t think he’s able to discern all these, being drugged up and emotional at this time.

PBom existence falling in love with Ji Tae (as she’s old, so she can fall in love) explains why 7th bom saw a future of Ji tae with a black haired Bom. That’s probably PBom stepping out of providence and into the loops. No idea how they’re gonna make up.

I also question the inherit nature of the black dragon. Muted it may be, but there’s an inherit hatred in a black dragon’s personality.

An ‘iteration’ ends when any of the 4 dragons die. This is because their death will send out a signal, causing the adult dragons to come and ravage earth. This applies even if the dragon suicides. with the info from the 7th iteration, it should be easy to go for a clear run on the 8th. Fight on, Ji tae. You got half the answers now.

    1. Yourdad says:

I think that the inherent nature of the black dragon is love instead of hatred like how the uchiha clan is in naruto and that because they love so much that when harmed they gain hatred. This theory is supported by Boms backstory and how she even says that all this was because he killed her mom. I don’t think it’s the black dragons fault, because at the end of the day they’re just trying to survive in a world that hates them and if I were a leader of a race that was dying I would also want to save my race. If we are talking about what the black dragons did to Mc then we would have nothing to talk about, because it were the other dragons that were causing the apocalypse and the iterations. It’s not right to say they are trues evil when we don’t see their circumstances. I think humans would do much worse when in a near extinction type scenario

      1. Lebon says:

Myu is uncaring in her killing spree. Ji Tae has personally witness the corruption that black dragons do on Innocent planets as they pass by. You’re wrong about that, for if they were truly trying to survive, they would have learned how to get along. Instead, whever a black dragon goes, destruction follows even without the presence of other colored dragons.

The black dragons did kill MC. Why do you think he knows the coordinates of their home? He followed them back in one iteration after they razed earth.

Bom even said it herself. The hatred resonated and changed the personality trait of black dragons. Where they used to be recorders of the past, they now destroy and curse instead.

  38. first timer says:

erm, no comment… but like others a saying, there should be few other BOM right? maybe that white bird is 1 of them..

dammit, now need to wait for update.. dang it..

  41. ISMA says:

My boi Yu jitae can’t catch a break.

  42. diegorogo says:

    Thanks for the chapter!
I can’t see how this is possible, if jitae is already stuck in the iteration cycle, then the dragons have to be on earth. At the start of every iteration the dragons are on Earth.
There is no way for Bom to see jitae kill her mother If she is already on Earth.

  43. myst says:

There is really a hole in her logic.
Even if she existed in 2 timelines in parallel, both are progressing together and their starting point is the 6th iteration. It’s impossible to go behind the starting point, or that would mean she herself has a stronger authority than [vintage clock].
I think these are fake memories.

  44. milkyviolet says:

He got his emotions back I think so he has the right to be impressionable.

“Nah I think I still want to die… or do I want to live? I mean if you kill them then I certainly want to die but if you let them live then perhaps? Aye, the meaning of life is what all intelligent species live for, thus the choice requires not me but you and your choice. I end my case”

  45. Lost says:

Some things don’t add up to me.
Jitae always starts his regression AFTER the dragons already are on earth. This happens on the 6th iteration, and he long confirmed the green dragon was already on earth.
Yet, now, we are told she wasn’t on earth?
Or did her plan somehow overwrite all previous iteration when she started doing it? But that makes no sense, since she herself said her amusement was unrelated to her revenge. Thus, she should have left on her amusement anyway, so her being when her mother died shouldn’t have happened.
Let’s put all of that aside for one second, because it’s not even the most ridiculous thing.
How come her mother is dead forever? Her mother is still in the providencial world. The providencial world has been resetted by the transcendent authority, Vintage Clock. This is no fcking joke. Just because she saw her mother die shouldn’t somehow interfer with the work of Vintage Clock. Who the fck is Bom? She is morely an existence at the end of the day.

  46. oef says:

damn its a fact that this is the best novel i have read so far author ur fricking good fyckinghell

  47. eternal perspective says:

    Thanks for chap
What doesn’t add up here is how she went to before the regressions and became the cause….

  48. Winter says:

It’s hard to imagine that this could possibly end up in a happy ending tbh.
I guess there could be some kind of deus ex machina that turns back time regardless of the rules of providence, but that would be kinda cheap.
